The feeling of pure hate!

First of all I just want you to know that I'm not going to apologize for my last entry, made earlier today. I do not regret a single word of it. Today (meaning 12th september) is a day, which from now on, will live in infamy. Today is the day which gave me serious doubts... serious doubts of football being a game where heart matters. Serious doubts of football being a game of respect and passion for one's team. Today is the day which made me doubt football.

Game day. Manchester City, a team which has been bought by rich arabians from the middle east, a team without a soul, versus Arsenal, a team owned (mostly) by its own fans. Today's match was special to all Arsenal fans all over the world. During the summer, City signed a bunch of new, expensive, players. Amongst them were Kolo Touré and Emmanuel Adebawhore from Arsenal. Adebawhore? But isn't his name Adebayor? Well, from now on I won't use his real name. From now on he will be called Adebawhore. Simply because he's a greedy fucking whore. Anyways... the game today was important, not only because the need of points always exists, but also because it would have felt good to beat City and their greedy, cunty excuses for players.

The game didn't start very well. City scored first. The scoreline was 1-0 to City at the break. In the second half, Arsenal clearly was the better team. van Persie equalized and then Arsenal had several great chances to take the lead, without doing so. Then City scored again. Arsenal were still in it though..... until the first incident occured. van Persie made a gliding tackle at Adebawhore, which missed. Adebawhore, avoding the tackle, put his foot in van Persie's face, on purpose. A crystal clear red card! Well, not according to the ref. Moments later, it happened. The thing happened which made me, an almost fanatic football-lover, lose faith in the game. Adebawhore scored and, as his celebration, ran the whole lenght of the field, down to the Arsenal-section, and threw himself scornfully on the ground, mocking the club which made him the player he is today. It almost made me vomit...

Now listen here! I don't care about the result today. City won with 4-2 and maybe that wasn't a very fair result, but there are other things to talk about here. First of all, the fucking cunt tried to seriously wound Arsenal's players during most of the game. He should have been sent off! Secondly, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU THINKING WITH!?!?!? You do not, and I repeat, you DO NOT mock the fans of your old club, even if you don't like them. Have you even heard of the word RESPECT, you fucking twat!?!? You do not do that!!!!

When he sat there on the grass in front of the Arsenal fans, I said to myself: "If he were here now, I probably would kill him". Now, that I probably wouldn't do, but I sincerely hope that the fucking cunt breakes his legs! When he sat there, in that exact moment, he was erased from the history of Arsenal Football Club. He does not exist anymore. He could as well be dead. In that exact moment, I knew what pure hate was. I had never sensed it before, but I was sure that this was it. I knew that I had never hated someone or something as much as I did in that exact moment. It was as if he mocked my whole existence. It was as if he jumped out of the TV and shat in my face! Shat on my life, my passion for football. It was as if he said to all football-lovers around the world: "there is no respect in football. You can behave in any way you want!"

I hate that man more than anything else in the world. I've felt hate, or so I believed at least, against many differént players and clubs during the years. But I have never felt real hate. Until now...

I view this as a major setback for all fans of football and it will take a while for me to regain my own faith. I hope it doesn't take too long though..... I don't want to lose my passion for this beautiful sport. Or is it gone already?

I'll let you know what happens..

Back to normal life again

Last week was my final week at work this summer. It began on wednesday with an easy nights work, and finished on saturday with a rather tough evening ending at 02.00. In between, thursday and friday, didn't offer much out of the ordinary. It was at least a good finish to my working-summer when I, on saturday, recieved my last tip of the summer; 500 kr. We actually got 800 kr from a company consisting of only four persons, which to me is very unusual, but nice. Because of this, the final amount of tip-money ended up being more than 1000 kr more than last year, or to be more exact: 7700 kr for the whole summer. This is, to say at least, VERY NICE! :D

                                                             mmm...money... :)

Before I left on saturday, I also roughly counted my hours (that I've worked) in august. It were about 165 hours all in all, which is only about 20 hours less than in july. This, in addition to the regular holiday pay, will render me a salary for approximately 16000. 16000 + 19200 + 7700 is 42900, if I'm not mistaken. If we take away the 7700 for the London-trip and 2000 for the gym-membership (gained yesterday by the way) and maybe 5000 for other various expenses, I'll end up with approx 28200 kr in my pocket. This is my reason for not taking any CSN-loans this fall..

To move on... on monday, I met up with Roy (a friend from Varberg), who has got accepted into the Teacher-programme. I guided him for a while around the campus and then he went to his introduction. The day before yesterday (tuesday) was my first day of school this term. As you may know, my main subject is Religious studies. The classrooms of HUM has been moved to the not so furnished F-house. My classmates were mostly teacher-students (as myself, but the differnce is that they're studying on the teacher-programme) and I can't say that I recognized anyone particular. The introduction began with our teacher, a german lady, Heike Peter talking about a webpage. Suddenly the fire alarm commenced and we were "evacuated" for about ten minutes. After that, it was safe to go inside again :P

The lesson continued until 12 and then, as the weather was more than good, I called MJ and asked him if he wanted to play some football. That he wanted. I don't know what the pitch is called, but it's the one next to Sannarpsbadet. A very good pitch and we played and perspired for about two hours.

Yesterday me and MJ went to the new gym to check it out. It turned out that there was a special offer this week: a whole years membership for 2000 kr. It's less than 200/month, which is very cheap. After some troubles with MJ's payment, we began our first gym session for the term. It was tough, but I managed. Today, however, I have some sore muscles, but it's totally ok :)
After the gym we went to, and check out the fucking translation for the word "systembolaget": company for the sale of wines and spirits. Say what!? Do they sell f-ing ghosts there or what!? :D
I would have said liquor store, but whatever! :P

Later in the evening, about 7, it was party at my place. I think it was fun and we were maybe 20-25 persons here. Somethnig that I especially liked was the fact that my appartement were filled with dancing people, dancing to my music. Everyone enjoys my music! That's what I've been trying to tell you, you sons of biatches!! ;D

Well, later we went to Kåren and first spent half an hour in the line to get in. Inside, we danced all night and it was okay I guess. The only thing that dissapointed me was the DJ on the "big dancefloor". He played the same fucking "dunka dunka"-music all night and every fucking song was some sort of latino-remix. I cannot believe that someone has allowed a DJ that single-minded (when it comes to music). Variation is the word here, people. Variation! Otherwise it was fun!

Woke up today with some sort of hangover. I don't think that I'm going to do anything special anyway today, so I mights as well lie here and pity myself :)

And yeah, I almost forgot! On monday me and Anna made a thourough cleaning of my appartment. It took us six hours but it was worth it. As you might see on the picture below, it turned out very nice after all :)

Now I'm off to doing nothing again :P

School tomorrow and Anna goes to Hungary for the weekend. No football except national tems and they suck..

Not the best picture, but who gives a s....

The last week coming up!

Yepp, this week is the last week of work (for me) this summer. Today at 17 I begin my final week of dishwashing, cleaning toilets, carrying different heavy stuff and serving over-expensive food. Hopefully this week will not be as tough as the rest have been and I will be glad if I could round of the summer with a "lazy" several days. We'll see..

Yesterday MJ phoned me before noon and we decided to hook up and play some sweet football :)
Our plan was to occupy the field of Bolmen, but it was already taken by several hundred zeroes and overallers (:P). "Where could we find a pitch to play on?" we asked ourselves. Then I remembered that ther's a perfectly suitable pitch next to Sannarpsbadet. We drove there and much to our delight, there was an abandoned green field with two goals. I think we played for about an hour and a half and then we went home again. I don't know if we were allowed to play there, but who gives a shit anyway.. we had fun (like-small-children-in-a-candyshop-fun, that is ;D).

Later in the evening, myself and Anna ate some tortilla-pizza and even later, at 21, MJ came over with a winer to watch Liverpool-Aston Villa, which to our delight finished 1-3 in favour of Villa. I'm sorry Roy, but Pool sucks big ass! ;)

Today has been a day of almost nothing. I don't even remember what I've done to be honest. Watched some ball in the evening, but that's it..

Yeah, yeah. I'll probably don't write anything here until next sunday. On tuesday, school starts again, with religion for me. Should be interesting. I'll also have to look up the new gym and prepare myself for party on wednesday (hopefully, at least :P). Now I'm off to bed!

Song and video of the day: Hammerfall - Natural high (could be one of the coolest videos I've ever seen and the song isn't bad either! :D)

30,5

That's how many hours I've worked the last two days at the restaurant. On friday I began my session at 9 in the morning and worked until 00.00. It probably was the most busy and demanding day during all of my work this summer. On saturday morning I was so tired that I couldn't even raise my arms. I began at noon. A wedding was on the schedule and I got my first assignment from the boss before I even had entered the restaurant. Then it continued, the hard work, all day long and I did almost every chore you could imagine. Everything from cleaning toilets to serving food. I hate that fucking job! Anyways...... when the clock striked 03.30 I went home, no energy whatsoever left in my body. It felt like I had been buttfucked in the head. I survived though and didn't even bother to eat anything before I went to bed.

Woke up today with some kind of hangover. Ate a piece of pie and walked to the train station to catch the train to Strawtown. Here I am now, all fed up with quality football! :)

If we talk in pure money terms, this week has been superb. I got about 200 in tip-money both wednesday and thursday. I got 450 on friday, but nothing yesterday. The pile of sweet, sweet bills and coins in my tip-box is actually quit heavy now and it will be a pleasure counting it after my last week at work, which is next week. Besides that, I made, only counting the last two days, over 3200 kr in worked hours. Not bad, nor bad. The paycheck for july was great and the paycheck for august (which I will receive in september) will be good also. I would imagine that it could reach about 15000, at least. No worries about my economy, I can tell you ;)

Then over to a subject, which fills more than half of my life. Yeah, I probably don't even have to mention it by now, but it's football ;)

On tuesday, Arsenal played Celtic away from home in the Champions League qualifier 3rd round. The Gunners won by two goals to nil (0-2) and was a joy to watch. They played a very aggressive in the defence and this had the effect that Celtic couldn't really come to any clear chances. The goals where, as a Swede would put it; "riktiga skitmål", but they count as well. They first was scored by Gallas, who actually tried to avoid Fabregas' freekick, but got the ball in his back instead, altering the trajectory, making the ball impossible to save for the keeper. The second goal came after a good build up from Arsenal, ending with Clichy shooting the ball into the penalty box from the left and the center back (the cunt Caldwell) scoring an own goal. Arsenal are now in an excellent position to reach the group stage of the CL. They just have to avoid losing by three goals at home now on wednesday in the second leg.

When I worked yesterday, Arsenal played Portsmouth in the Premiership at Emirates Stadium. Immediately after the game I called home to get the result and that saved my night. 4-1 to the Arsenal. Today i looked at the highlights and I liked what I saw. The first goal was scored after Eduardo hade rounded his man on the left wing and passed the ball diagonally back, to Diaby, who broadsided (hmm? Is it really called that? :P) the ball up into David James' left top corner. Porn! The second goal came from a swift counter attack. Diaby first headed away a corner from Portsmouth and then ran across the whole field and scored from a pass by Eboué. Really good stuff! :D
Portsmouth struck one back shortly after, following a lame intervention from Almunia. 2-1 in half-time..
In the second half, Arsenal dominated greatly. 3-1 came from another "skitmål". Gallas again actually :P
He intercepted a freekick and (yes, it's true) shot himself in the face and into the net. 4-1 was scored by Aaron Ramsey after a pornographically perfect pass from van Persie. A solid performance and this seson has started in a great way!

I also have to say that Vermaelen, Arsenal's new belgian defender, already is one of the best signings I've ever seen for The Gunners. He's very good so far!

Next up: Celtic at home and Man U away!

Up the Gunners!

PS. I hope you're watching The Gunners play, MJ. It's better than german scheisse porn! ;D DS.

Song of today: Hammerfall - Any means necessary

Gunned down!

Yepp, Everton was certainly gunned down by the Gunners the day before yesterday, that is saturday. It was the opening round of this years Barclay's Premier League and all was set for a wonderful evening with my favorite game, football! ......that is if I had not been forced to work all day at a fucking wedding. My day began with me watching Chelsea-Hull (2-1) and then bicycle off to work in pouring rain. Then I worked until 02.00, but before that, Roy had the good manners to call me and utter the results of the day, especially Arsenal's. When he said that Arsenal had won 5-0 away against Everton at Goodison park (the came 5th last year), I was, to say at least, happy. Later on in the evening, my drunk boss (who participated in the wedding) told me that the final score was 1-6 to Arsenal and that the goalscorers where (in order): Denilson, Vermaelen, Gallas, Fabregas, Fabregas, Eduardo, Saha...

This is the perfects start to the new campaign and a finger in the face of all fools that have mocked Arsenal before the season. Yes, sure Arsenal will end up on the 6th place....haha..fucking twats! :D

Tomorrow it's Celtic in the CL-qualifier. New game and hopefully also goals for Gunners, then!

Top of the league and having a laugh!

In other news I got the first glimpse of my paycheck for july, today. It was fun to read as it said "19245 kr netto" and 187 worked hours. I'm not poor :)

I also have worked qute a lot in august and still have two whole weeks left. This means more money is still to be made. The tip-box, by the way, is about to blow under the pressure from the pile of bills and coins. Nothing wrong with that ;P

Now: off to the TV..........which is already here so I rather would have to say: Now: the TV off to me! ...or something like that... I'm tired.. :D

Todel.................ho!

All quiet on the Varberg front

The reason why I'm not writing here as often as I use to, is the same reason that I've mentioned several times before; work. I have no time and when I do have time, I'm not in the mood to write. Besides, there's not much to write about. It's the same f-ing thing every day. Work, work and work! The only new thing under the sky this week is my haircut. I got it yesterday and I'm mighty satisfied with it. Almost a mohawk :)

I leave you know with a picture of it and the fact that I'm going to miss the opening round of the premiership this saturday. Everton-Arsenal 18.30 especially. This is due to a wedding at the restaurant which will not end until 03.00 :(

Yeah, yeah! Soon I'm free again. Longing for school to start..... and for London! :P

A moment of glorious history!

This week has easily been the toughest so far this summer when it comes to work. It started last tuesday at 17. That night was, to say at least, hectic. I earned, besides my ordinary wage, 420 kr tip-money. That's a lot for a tuesday! Wednesday wasn't fun either. I worked "långpanna", or "the whole day", in this case from 12.00 to 23.30. I earned 285 kr in tip (for a total of 705 this week). Thursday I began work at 17. What I thought would be a rather peaceful evening, instead turned out to be the opposite. The thing that made me totally exhausted (for the rest of this week actually) was that my boss fouled me by saying that the environment and health authorities was to arrive the next day. Thus, I had to, besides from washing up the dishes, clean the whole fucking section of the restaurant under my responsibility. I had to dissect the whole fucking dishwasher and therefore I quit work, totally exhausted, at 01.15. I got 310 in tip (total: 1015 this week).

On friday, at noon, I was at work again. The environment and healt authorities never came, of course! I worked until 23.30 again, earning 300 in tip + a fucking headache and back pain. (total tip this week: 1315 kr)
Yesterday (saturday), I once again began at 12. This time I, also that once again, worked until 23.30, making it my third 11,5 hours-day of the week. I got 315 in tip..
Today I only worked for 3,25 hours, from 13-16.15. Then I went to Halmstad and here I am now..

I have worked for almost 53 hours this week and my body is totally destroyed. My toes hurt and my back is that of a 70 year old man. But I cannot complain. Why? Read the headline of this entry..

Last tuesday, when I stood there in the dishwashingroom, my grumpy ols boss suddenly came in to me. To complain as usual I first thought.....but instead he said something like this, and I will have to write it in Swedish to preserve the effect: "Jag vet att jag inte har gett dig särskilt mycket beröm, Jocke. Men jag vill bara att du ska veta att du gör ett jävligt bra jobb. Alla tycker om dig här på restaurangen och jag önskar att jag hade fler som dig här. Du gör ett grymt bra jobb helt enkelt!"

My first though was: "am I dreaming or have some fucktard poured cocaine into the ventilation system?". I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Never, under the three years I've worked with the old yokel, has he said one word with a positive ring to it. And now this!? I still don't know what I am supposed to believe. Well, as long as he's nor complaining about something, I'm happy. I rather prefer him to be totally quiet to be honest :)

My new nemesis is instead that 08-biatch Mikaela. I hate her sooooooooooo much! Fucking tramp!

And finally, MJ, you wondered why I haven't written anything about Kolo Tourés departure to Man Shitty.... the simple reason is that I don't care. To one day say that playing for Arsenal is like playing for your own family, and the next sign a contract with the most fucked up team in the world.....well, he isn't worth my thoughs........fuckin' twat...

And yeah, I almost forgot. The total tip this week was 1630 kr, which is sick! I probably will end up being able to pay my whole London trip with solely my tip-money! Tremendous! :D

Less than three months to North London Derby!!!

Song of the day: Anvil - Tease me, please me

Where's the summer at?

And where did it go? I seems like yesterday, the party at Fartyget. Now it's almost august and the summer has disappeared it feels like. So, what have I achieved during the summer? What have I done? In june I only worked several times at the restaurant, which could be seen at my paycheck (it reads 3000 kr netto). To be honest, I don't remember much of what I did in june except that I celebrated midsummers eve and went to Sweden U21-Serbia U21 in Malmö with MJ. Other than that, I cannot remember....or well, I got a nice tan at least ;P

So, in july, the work at the restaurant at Varberg's fortress began. This is the third year in a row I'm working with the same boss; the totally useless S of a B! Work began on july the first and continued several days. When I got my first day off, it was sunday. The next day i was back at work again, with one significant difference: I was no longer just a dish-boy (or dishwasher as is the correct word, but I chose not to use it because of the potential risk of people then confusing me with a machine ;P), but in addition also a waiter. At the time I had no f-ing idea why the boss wanted me, the unfriendliest person on earth (I have a problem kissing ass and pretending to be nice, yes..), to be a waiter on his fancy restaurant! Later I got the answer to my question. Obviously ther's a shortage of staff all around the country in the restaurant business. It is obviously very hard to find personnel who want to stick around for a while, if you get what I mean. The chef-position is especially affected....obviously.

So I simply had to adapt as best I could to my new role as both a dish-boy and a waiter. These to things I had to do at the same time, which made a heavy work even heavier. To top it all I also had to be nice to people!? Get out of here, you twat! Well, that was my first reaction...and my second and third...hmm...I guess I've reacted that way ever since ;)
Now, almost a month later, with many hours of job completed, I sort of know what I'm doing (as a waiter). It actually isn't that difficult. To carry three plates is not a problem...unless they are hot, which my hand have been forced to witness several times. Everything at work have gone well and I even got some praise (believe it or not!) from my boss for a job well done. The second week of july I worked for a total time of 55 hours. That was rough. I got one day off. The next week I worked for over 40 hours. Keep in mind that this isn't a job where you get to rest or sit down a lot. Actually I don't think I ever sit down at work :P it is very though on the body, but I make a lot of money at least. I only have 95 kr/hour + OB, and that's not very much, you might think, but, and it's a big but, every night the personnel that worked that evening split the tip. The tip I get for a normal evening is almost always around 200 kr. On a weekend, it's often 300-400 kr/night. Have in mind that we are often 5-6 who split the tip. Last friday I got my biggest tip, so far, of the year: 505 kr for one night. That was more than half of what I earned in my regular salary that evening as I worked 9 hours.

Last summer I got a total of 6500 kr in tip-money. I reckon that it won't be as much this summer, mainly because of the fact that I did not work all of june as I did last year. Instead I will work all of august, but only for 3-4 days a week + a couple of weddings (= no tip). This brings me to the conclusion that I probably, concerning the tip, will land somwhere between 3500-5000 kr. That's not bad at all considering the fact that my London-voyage in october will cost me 7000. Yeah, right! The London trip! So, a few days ago i spoke with the travel organizer (or what the heck it's called). He said that everything was fixed concerning the trip. So, here's my trip to London, which I will undertake together with Anna (yes, I have made up my mind):

Note that me and Anna will plan the trip in advance (what we're going to visit and stuff like that) to avoid panic when we actually are in London. Thus I don't know much about the trip yet, but will give you the generic details..

10.15, friday, 30th october we will take a plane (Ryanair) from Göteborg/Säve to London/Stanstead. The flight will take approxemately one hour or a little more perhaps. Then we will take the train or tube (subway) in to London city, where our hotel is situated. Later that evening we talked about, since I have never been to Emirates Stadium, checking out the fastest tube-rout to the arena. This will prevent us from being stressed the next day.

Saturday, 31th october we will go out early to imbibe (yes I looked the fucking word up! Happy!?) the atmosphere around the stadium before the match. I will also make a raid into the official Arsenal shop, The Armoury, outside the stadium. If I know myself, it will be hard to leave :P
The, before kick-off (we haven't got any further info yet), we will be served a three course dinner with free firewater (hehe) inside the stadium, as a part of our Club tickets (VIP, man! VIP! :D). Then, at 12.45 local time (13.45 here), the match between Arsenal FC and Tottenham Hotspur will commence. The stadium will explode when 60000 people try to outsing each other. Can't wait to sing along! Fuck off, Spurs! Cause we're Arseeeeeeeeeeenaaaal..bam bam bam bam..Arseeeeeeeeeeeenaaaaal FC! And we're by far the greatest, team the world have seen!!!! As i said: CAN'T WAIT!!! I promise, MJ, I will take a lot of pictures and videos and give them to you later on :)

Then we have, as the match finishes around 14.45, all day to do something else. That "something" hasn't been decided yet. The only thing we know is that we have plenty of time to wander around in autumn-London (Hyde park is nice) :D
Sunday we have all day to do whatever we wish. The trip back to Sweden is not until 18.00 on monday, 2 november. This means, because I managed to get these brilliant flight-times, that we have two whole days in London + one day from noon and one day until 18. You do the maths ;)
As I said though, we haven't decides what to visit yet. I know that Anna wants to see Madame Tussauds, and I have no problems going there again. We will also probably visit those places where it's free entry, such as British Museum and tate Modern, as two examples. Westminster and Trafalgar Square is also possible targets for our visit. Harrods is another place where I want to go. However, it will be fun :)
31 october is the date. Except to hear more of this subject until then ;)

But that's three months away, folks!

What am I going to do until then? Well, now it's tuesday and if nobody fro work phones me today, I won't work until tomorrow (wednesday) at 17. I probably will work the same times all of august. I hope that i can partake in the Nollning at least a few days as a spectator/tormentor of the zeroes. We will have to see. On the 15th of august, the premiership starts again......nuff said!

On 1 september school starts. My subject for this term is religion and I'm really looking forward to doing this. An intriguing subject :) then i hope I will be able to play some fotball with MJ (and perhaps Roy and Elias) before the winter comes. It may sound a little ... or well...very gay, but I have missed MJ during the summer. He is the only one who truly understands the fotbally half of me ;)

Kalmar for Allsvenskan!

Now I have written enough for a lifetime. It's time for me to hit the hay. I will update as soon as something exciting happens. So long suckers!

The song, which from now on, I will play before every Arsenal game: Roger Daltrey - Highbury Highs

Victoria Concordia Crescit - Victory Through Harmony

Off to London!

Yepp, now it's done. The ordering of tickets to Arsenal-Tottenham the 31st of october that is. The North London Derby. One of the biggest rivalry-filled games in the world. Myself, (MJ, Roy or Anna) plus 60000 other human beings will be at the Emirates Stadium at 12.45 local time (13.45 Swedish time) on the 31st of october to watch Arsenal humiliate those white bastards called Spurs (don't use swear-words, my mother just told me!) Last time I saw Arsenal live was at Highbury, on the 31st of october, 2004. I have no idea how the date could be the same, but it is :)

That time the match ended 2-2 after a late equalizer from Robin van Persie. I have never been to Arsenals "new" (opened 2006) arena, Emirates Stadium. Now I will get the chance. I'm as excited as a pedophile in a kinder garden :P can't wait to get it on! :D

I have noting more to say really. All I've done lately is work, work and work. I make money, but it's boring as hell and furthermore, I get these fucking pimples in my face. It, obviously, can't handle the filthy air in the dishwashingroom too good. Well well, they will disappear when I quit working so Mr. Vain (me) simply has to endure :)

Now: off to be...ehh....the TV :P

A day off

Last week I reached the total worked time of 54 hours (in five days). I thought that it would be very nice with a couple of days of resting. I was wrong as usual. I got sunday off, noting more. At 12 yesterday I was at work again along with my favorite waitress, Carro and the biggest biatch in the world; the "nollåtta" Mikaela. I really have no words left to describe her bitchyness (or whetever it is called), so I will say it as they do in the Carlsberg-commercial: "Mikaela, probably the biggest bitch in the world".

This is also the problem with blogging in the summer; there's not very much to write about. At work, I usually do the same things all week. I come in, do the dishes, do some other stuff, do the dishes, sweat, do the dishes, get all greasy, do the dishes.... well, you get the point. The only thing different about my job the last couple of weeks, besides the fact that my shifts are 12 hours long every day, is that I have been working as a dishboy and a waiter. I'm not very good at it though. It is not in my nature to be nice to people without a reason to be so. You who know me certainly know what I'm talking about :P I'll manage, however (even though it isn't really my task to do so), but certain guest I really just want to punch in the face and hadoken them good! As I said: I'll manage..

Otherwise I haven't done anything out of the ordinary. Today I have my foirst whole day off in about a year (it feels like that anyway). I've played football with my flabby little brother and worked on my tan in the garden. You know, before I began working these annoyingly long shifts, my face was smooth as a baby's ass. After last week, having literally worked in grease all week, I received, for my contribution, several pimples. Now they're gone again, but that proves what a disgusting environment I work in. It must be rainforest climate in there :P

On sunday I hope that the weather is good so we can go to the beach in Halmstad or something like that. If I'm not working monday, there's a big chance (risk? :P) of me going to the monday club. Should be fun..

Well, we'll see..

As a final thought of the day, something about Arsenal. Silly season is all over us now it feels like. Arsenal hasn't, as usual, made any big signings. Thomas Vaermaelen (def) (hmm..spelling check, please! :P) is the only signing so far. However, there are strong rumours that Adebayor is on his way to Man City. In my opinion, we don't need him anymore. He has not got the right attitude to play for Gunners. One who do have the right attitude is Kolo Touré, who said: "playing for Arsenal is like playing for my own family". King Kolo!

I have also been looking for tickets to Arsenal-Tottenham this autumn. I doesn't seem to be any problems aquiring them so now the only thing I'll have to do is convince MJ to join me (the cheap bastard! ;D). Last time I saw Arsenal ive was at Highbury in 2004 against Southhampton, a match that ended 2-2..

Bye for now!

No time

I'm sorry that the updating here hasn't been good at all, but I simple haven't had no time to write anything extensive. It's just: wake up, eat, go to work, work for about 12 hours, go home and take a shower, eat, go to sleep, and then repeat the procedure over and over again. I've been working as both a waiter and with the dishes so I've been busy to say at least. As soon as I get a day off, I will write here. Until then..

A week of nothing particular..

Well, the reason why I have not written in almost a week is simple: there have been noting to write about....almost nothing anyways. Last week, Anna was here in Varberg. We just chilled and went down to the beach (Kåsa). It has been very hot weather here on the westcoast for over a week now, but you could not feel that in the water at all. It was freezing cold, to say at least. I also watched Sweden loose on penalties versus England after having returned from 3-0 down. Very strong and it's a shame we couldn't reach the final. Instead the final was won by Germany yesterday with 4-0.

Saturday it was party-time. The party took place at Gamletull and attracted a handfull of people (less than I hoped). Later in the evening we went to Moon and stayed there until about half past two or something like that. Then, Johan, Gurra, Lappen and Leo got the idea that they should take a bath in a small "pool" at GT. The water was yellow (from pee probably). All four of them got naked (in the middle of Gamletull) and jumped in the water. There they sat a long time while me and Martin laughed our asses off. A little bit later, one of them got the idea that I would feel better if I got a hug from all four at the same time. Therefore, I found myself chased through Gamletull with four naked guys after me. I can't imagine what people watching the thing thought :P

Well, the didn't catch me, but it was close. Puh! After this naked chase, and after the monkeys had climbed up on some rooftops, we went home.

Sunday, I spent almost the entire day at Gurra's apartment playing Mario Kart Wii. At about 19 I took the train back to Vbg again and I have been here since, working on my tan (which is veeeeeeery nice) :P
At the moment, I'm reading Sun Tzu's The Art of War. It's some really heavy stuff, but it's also very interesting as it was written 490 BC. A very logical book, but still unlogical..

Tomorrow I am going to work again for the first time in three weeks. I am really happy about this because of the fact that I get a bad conscience just walking around doing nothing useful..

Now, I am going to have something to eat and then I will visit the garden to work on my tan again :)

Bye bye!

Song of the day: Roger Daltrey - Highbury Highs (wonderful song which made me cry)

Yellow and blue!

Okay, so where do I begin? Well, I reckon it's best to begin from....eh...the beginning. Anyways....I took the 17.04-train from Halmstad to Malmö, where I arrived approximately 18.55. After a few phonecalls to MJ, I met up with him outside the Central station. Together we then walked towards the arena (Malmö New Arena). It was quite a bit to walk and we didn't really know where to go, so after having asked a couple of persons on the street, we joined a group of Serbs heading for the arena. When we came to Pildammsparken, we parted and me and MJ sat down (as it was still some time until the game was to begin) and drank a couple of beers. Well, MJ had more than a couple, but that's fine :)

When the game was about to begin, we took our tickets and headed for the arena. Inside, it was rapidly filling up with people. My concern was that it would be a very large number of Serbs and that they would own the stadium, but as far as I could see, there were a lot of yellow and blue shirts. The Serbian section was right behind one of the goals, which I tought was a little stupid (this I was right about). They made A LOT of noise and they weren't silenced until the Swedish national anthem were sung. That was powerful and I got goosepimples (I think it's called that, isn't it?) all over my body. When the game began, it was obvious that the Serbs weren't going to give the Swedish team an easy task. Still, in the seventh minute, Marcus Berg got first to an Emir Bajrami-cross and fired home. 1-0 to Sweden and the crowd were delighted (and noisy). A few minutes later it would get even better. Ola Toivonen played the ball to Bajrami, who were tripped by a defender. Penalty! Berg slotted home from the eleven-meter-spot. 2-0 and now the Serbs began to be frustrated. As the words "Sverige! Klapp-klapp-klapp! Sverige! Klapp-klapp-klapp!" echoed throughout to whole arena, the Serbian section began throwing in stuff on the field, hitting the Swedish goalkeeper in the back. At this moment, the whole Swedish audience boooo:ed the Serbian section and sang: "Ut med packet! Uuuuuuut med packet!" Fucking awsome! In your face! :D

Then it got worse. Serbia scored on a corner and the Serbian fans went crazy and tried to run in onto the field, but were stopped by the guards. This caused the referee to stop the game temporarely (I think he considered ending the game for good actually). A few minutes later, the game was resumed and now the feelings between the Swedes and the Serbs weren't good at all. I liked it! :)
Every time that the Serbian fans began to sing, the Swedes answered with louder singing. We outsang those bastards! "Vi e Svenska fans allihopa! Klapp klapp klapp klapp klapp - klapp klapp klapp klapp!" Still, the Serbs very happy to have scored, but a minute later we got our revenge. Ola Toivonen dribbled past his defender and chipped the ball past the goalkeeper to make it 3-1 to Sweden and the Swedish crowd went wild, many pointing at the Serbs taunting them (I was :P). MJ must have gotten wildest of them all. He high-fived with a father and his son to the left of us :D

It had only gone 30 minutes and it was already 3-1 and the stadium was electric. The crowd really "levde med" in every ball. Just before half-time, Bajrami got a nasty tackle and a Serbian player was sent off, much to the Swedish crowd's amusement (malice of course). There were some players arguing down at the pitch and the general mood was upset. I love these feelings! This is what football is all about! Then the ref blew his whistle for half-time..

The second half was more of a simple route for Sweden. Serbia got another player sent off and had barely no chances at all. Sweden won fairly and now get to meet England on Friday in Göteborg. This game was just what I needed to survive the summer. Wonderful feelings inside a filled up stadium. I am satisfied :)
Football on TV vs football live? Cannot be compared. When you are there, it is not even close to being the same thing as sitting in the sofa at home. Everyone should try it sometime :)

After the game, me and MJ went to rendevous with Anna at the MAS hospital. There we got picked up and after having dropped MJ off in Lund, me and Anna continued to Ängelholm and Gånarp to spend the night there. Today I got my stuff in Halmstad and then took the train to here, Varberg. Now i'm going to watch USA-Spain. Look at the pictures below. I will also add my videos to Facebook later. Enjoy!

In English, please!

I just wanted to inform you that from now on, this blog will be entirely in English. Reason? Well, as you may know already, my aim in life is to become a teacher in English/history. Lately, I have given this aim a lot of thought and I have decided to begin preparing myself for the task in different ways. One way is to write solely in English. It is not that I am worried about being a teacher in either of the two subjects (as a matter of fact I am looking forward to it), it is just that I am not sure that my skills in English are good enough....yet. Mostly it is the oral part I am worried about. I thought of looking for a job over there next summer or something so that I can be able to improve my speaking skills as well as my writing skills. This is quite important, as you may know, if I want to be att teacher at the gymnasium. I have to speak English all the time and even if my oral skills are good now, they could definetely improve. So, if I write in English I will probably think more in English as well :)

I thought of using Word when writing here, but then I changed my mind due to the fact that it would almost be like cheating. Hence, you will have to live with some mistakes, even if my writning skills in English are above average. So, now you know :)

So you could either live with it....or fuck off and do it better yourself! :D

Until next time..
